Jobe getting the Banned back together

So who is left?

Howlett (coming back)
Hurley (coming back)
Hibberd (coming back)
Pears (coming back)
Jobe (coming back)

I thought Tayte was off to become the next firemanā€™s calendar centrefold?

It will be interesting to see how the scum media spin this one when he does join the MFB.

Also interesting to hear what purpleknobhead says on the Midweek rub. I expect about 5 secs discussion on Stanton and 15 mins on Hurley

In retrospect we'll all say leaving Jobe to last, just before 2017 memberships become available, was marketing genius.

I think it is building as the last piece in the puzzle, and Iā€™m hoping it will be the icing on the cake.

Hopefully no one leaves the cake out in the rain.
Itā€™s taken so long to bake it.

We are passed halfway at last, we are pretty sure about Howlett, I wish Tayte well with whatever he decides and getting set up for the rest of his life isnā€™t a bad option, it really comes down to Hurley, Hibberd and Jobe.

Thinking we will hear from Benny soon and really hoping for Hurls and Hib and Tayte to declare themselves soon.

I think Jobe will leave it to be the last one and in fact has another 8 days than the rest before he can come back to training thanks to participating in the International Rules match, suspect he hopes to hear the verdict of the Swiss Appeal before making his final decision.

The first 11 can come back to training on September 13th (if there is any???) and Jobe can come back September 21st.

Then we can begin again.

When can we expect Fletcher to re-sign?

Itā€™s a spongey cake, thereā€™s a roof over it.

Youā€™ll need to take it to Billy Pickenā€™s old home ground at Macarthur Park.

Yeah well weā€™ll never have that recipe again.

I never have inside info, but at the VFL match there was a conversation nearby that sounded legit. Someone in direct contact with one of the guys in Europe. Feels wrong to repeat it all, but what I took from it is the guys will be back from Europe late next week. Iā€™m not expecting any decisions from that lot until Monday Aug 22. Itā€™s not the best sauce, but itā€™s something.

So weā€™ve got another week of baseless speculation until then. Nice.

Based on hearing that, Iā€™m much more relaxed. Nothing over the next week will be worth paying attention to.

I think that might be out by a week. Pretty sure theyā€™ll be back by the end of this week

Yeah, Woosha confirmed in his presser yesterday - said they expect hope to finish negotiations next week.

Iā€™m hoping he just rocks up to training and picks up where he left off.

No announcement, no discussion, no press conference.

I reckon that will get more hype and coverage than any other stunt. Media would eat it up.

Hurley greeted at the airport by a throng of AFL communication specialists, first question - ā€œWhat are your plans for 2017 Hurls?ā€

Hurls: ā€œWTF are all you guys doing here, didnā€™t you guys know Iā€™ve still got a year to go on my contract?ā€

If any of the boys are coming back today, it going to be interesting as I think Customs and immigration Officers at Airports are on a 24hr strike.

The lack of news on Pears might be a decent hint as to why we shouldnt be panicking on the delay for some others. I think the compo claim/loss of income/damages , to say nothing of uncertain Salary Cap increases, will be a factor in final decisions for some.
