Joe Daniher. Gone

If Joe’s leaving then his fence sitting is proof of his lack of professionalism. However if he is staying then it is refreshing to see a player who can still enjoy the game and doesn’t take himself too seriously. Am I doing it right?

I saw his fence sitting as a sign he isn’t sure whether he’s staying with Essendon or going to Sydney.

Surely Joe doesn’t play this weekend. We’re not playing finals, nothing to gain.

Up his trade value.

Would ship him out for the right price, dont think he had the drive to become the best player he could be, just happy to be at the level he is at the moment.

Wish he would get some one to help him with his goal kicking. Llyod did for a bit but Joe told him to ■■■■ off.

Coaching staff needs to be like “Joe we are getting you a goal kicking coach”

Or he can ■■■■ off

Well, that’s why you’re not running the club.

Sure, but you smash his trade value if he gets injured again. Very little to gain playing him and plenty to lose

That’s probably why it will happen. We seem to be drawn to the negative side of opportunity.

Is that correct? Wow.

That’s not true Nino. Lloyd was helping him with his kicking and the performance team kept cutting the sessions short or cancelling them. Joey and Lloyd both got frustrated and the sessions ended. Turns out joe had OP so the performance team were probably right. Let’s not forget that after the horror show against Melbourne in 2017 when joe kicked about 25 behinds he went on to kick something like 19 - 3. His goal kicking practice has been limited by his op.

Lloyd was the one that pulled the pin. He couldn’t handle being bagged in the media when Joe missed. He also felt it compromised him discussing essendon in the media if he was involved at the club

Fair enough maybe get Nick Rievoldt has no ties to club and I reckon he would like to help Joes goal kicking

Reiwoldt was a terrible kick for goal.

Why stop there?

Let’s get Scotty Lucas in as his handballing coach.

It’s a fair point.

I think you only get away with that sort of thing when you have really proven yourself, and even then its questionable behaviour.

Nobody at Essendon, least of all Joe has proven anything.

Standards at EFC are somewhere between very low and non-existent.
