If we want to keep Joe - which I certainly do - we need to accept that for every Hawthorn like performance, he will put in at least one West Coast performance. It’s just part of the deal.
And it wasn’t even a poor performance - certainly missed one sitter. The other two were always <50% opportunities. Presented all night, brought the ball to ground. Offered way more as a target than Hooker, Stringer or Stewart. This all on his second game in 5 days back after 3 years out of the game. Yeah, he will be fine.

At this stage I’d put scotty Lucas above Joe, and Lucas wasn’t the most accurate kick either.
