Well, yeah.
The thing I remember about that game is I had just moved to Sydney.
I went with some mates who were Swans regulars, and they were giving it to Hirdy a bit, suggesting he wasn’t going to get a free ride from umpires and that he wasn’t that good.
By the end of it he’d converted them.
25 touches. 3 goals. And all of them at a different level to everyone else.
