The government
Also less cable the better innit
Because you can’t run a HDMI cable from the iPhone or iPad.
thats 5 years ago, as unlikely as us winning a flag of working.
Chromecast is far superior to that, or hooking up a laptop to a TV via HDMI. Simple and easy to use, compatible with the Kayo app on phone or tablet device.
I’m toying with getting an Apple TV unit but the Chromecast is working so well I might not bother.
FFS,… That’s what I do and recommended in my post!! Cripes.
I’m with ■■■ on this one. Kayo works well (issues their end aside), web based on the mac, HDMI to the idiot box.
Its not like you’re moving about with your television.
its ok to be wrong you dinosaur.
Well, if being wrong is sooooooo wrong then I guess I’m just a big wrongo.
Now get off my lawn.
I have a Kayo account but only seems to work on Wi-Fi, not mobile data. I’m pretty tech deficient so is it possible to access other than through Wi-Fi?
for chromecasting your device needs to be on the same network
if you’re on data your device might be throttling it to protect your data cap
I’m on night shift tonight and was hoping to sneak some footy in
sus this, you could have the default setting of restricted data usage (wifi only)

Hmmm. I just packed the PS4 away, but might hook it up again if the Kayo app is half decent. Anyone going through this option let us know the UX…
It’s not fantastic; doesn’t really feel optimized for the PS4. Feels like a clunky web browser tbh. Navigation is a bit of a pain, but once the game starts it’s fine. Imo the biggest issue is no split view functionality.
I’ll sus it on the PS4. Surely can’t be worse than the app on my tv.
