Late night review - WCE 2022 round 15

True but they deserve it this week

And keep adding to that monstrosity at Tullamarine.

That sums it up, doesn’t it?

A successful football team takes resources away from commercial operations. Therefore it is not a priority.

I’m fuming at tonight’s game but aiming fire at a young key forward who has played 3 games after 2 long injury layoffs and a proven key intercept defender who played injured seems completely misguided to me.

Jones and Ridley had bad nights but geez they are the least of our problems.

That is just a reflection on how poor St Kilda are.

The similarities with arsenal are just frightening.

Except the gunners still managed to snag the odd gong.

You’d think a panel of highly qualified coaches would’ve worked that out by now wouldn’t you?
Embarrassing. We looked good lst week because the opposition was a s flat as a sh&t carters hat.

Whos our DT haha

We are crap, I learnt to accept that long ago and so no matter how bad a loss is, it doesn’t shock me

However, seeing Kennedy kick 5, Rioli 3 and Cripps 3 has done me

Willie Rioli kicking 3, Jesus Christ. This is like nick gill and Ben McKinley all over again

Because they were under minimal pressure.

‘Cause @Hoffy yells at us when we do that.

Every shot they had was basicly in front too

We reverted back to what they dished up before the Saints game how does that happen? players must be brain dead. if you did an footy iq test on every team we will be dead last i reckon

I have absolutely no expectations when we play! It’s a great way to check out, and the only way to survive the constant failings of this once great club.

I just got back from dinner. Didn’t even check the scores all night. Is it worth watching the replay?

And that’s after his “best ever” game :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Despite of a stinging loss and all the negative comments from Blitzers, I think we are finally getting some palpable development in the team. I rate us as the second youngest and least experienced team. Weagles are showing that they are getting back their Premiership players and gathering momentum and form. We lost because of inaccuracy in the most vital kick and over hand-balling again.
Pleasing part is matching and beating contest/ groundball. We desperately need a key lockdown defender (Not necessarily a key forward) during trade period. Need to find a way to get best out of Ridley. We have just lost to best 18th placed team. Over half of them are premiership players.

Boy of all the takes from this game, this one puzzles me.
Just needs games under his belt.

Not sure why… that loss didn’t gut me like others have. I thought Eagles would be much harder to beat than some commentary. With key players back they looked a lot stronger v Cats last week. Offensively we are much more creative and daring which has us having 59 shots on goal
In 2 weeks. Defensively our back 6 play way too high which is a clear instruction. Truck has to work that part out in next 9-10 weeks to start showing some signs of consistency

Very much worth watching it if you are in the camp of developing a premiership team. If you want win and losses heart-breaking

We lost because we gave the Eagles ample space to score just like we have been for most of the year.

Once again effort with out system they were soft espically the midfield. I saw Shiel in the last qrt just ball watching two eagles players fighting for the ball on the ground no one threw their bodies in the contest to win the ball it’s like it was too hard for them once Eagles upped the ante
