Agree with this.
Hep is running really really well.

Fine I won’t post anymore g’day

It’s because the report says on track for early rounds, not round one.

I do agree with you though. The Heppell update sounds like he is actually ok and just building after coming from a long way back.

N.B: I’m very much here for the little animal

Joe was ‘progressing well’ for nearly 3 years.

I’m unfortunately more familiar these days with Blitz Alternative Facts.
Where a bunch of the usual suspects take some positive news and somehow read words that aren’t even there.
Then claim they are.

And it ■■■■■ me.
Fine to have an opinion. Fine to be negative.
But to immediately post that the article “proves” Heppell won’t be ready for Round 1 is just bullshite.

Especially because there’ll now be dozens of posts in various threads for the next month claiming that the Club has admitted Heppell won’t be available.
All based on film flam, bull dust and pessimism.

Unless, in this Post Truth World, you’re actually trying to incite Nino et al into storming the Hangar and lynching the coaches & fitness staff.
Because at this rate you’ll probably succeed

Disappointed in the lack of an injury report video. Who will be the next Justin Crow/David Rundle who can awkwardly speak to the camera about Hepp “increasing his running loads” and “we will look to integrate him into full training”?

This is basically bullshit nino. He’s been running a lot already. He’ll be very fit once he’s able to play.

@nickers & @WindsockBoy what is wrong with you? Why aren’t you having a meltdown?

nino flies off the handle but no, its really not. less than one month out from our opening pre season game and he’s done a total of zero main sessions. none

spending the whole pre season in the modified group is not good, no matter who you are. history suggests people who have mainly interrupted pre seasons struggle during the regular season

I think history on that depends… if they have an injury that prevents them from running, then yes or if it’s a young player that needs to be learning the game plan or developing, then also yes. But senior players are far less affected by missing main sessions, as long as they are getting the miles into their legs, which Heppell is doing.

The bigger problem about Heppell missing the main sessions is that the younger players miss out on learning from his leadership and his experience.

I reckon if your a forward you can get away from it, im not too sure about midfielders

unfortunately for heppell, his prime years have been cut down by missing a year of footy through the saga and injury. its a massive shame and I think people should temper their expectations bigtime with him. he’s never going to be the same player again

Hooooly ■■■■ footy is almost back baby

I didn’t have you down as a member of BAnon,
that group of conspiracy theorists who seem to have infiltrated Blitz lately.
Nino, sure, he’s a card carrying member, but I thought you had more perspective/ love of beer.

Footnote
BAnon is a conspiracy theory that claims to be able to read cryptic messages in Club press releases, and that the Club is secretly run by a shadowy bunch of cannabalistic FarkCarlton Board members who specialise in stunting young players development, teaching them to kick poorly, and indoctrinating supporters into “accepting mediocrity “
Known to clandestinely meet in coffee shops this Board & Recruitment cabal is supposedly responsible for Danihergate, Fantasiagate, Saadgate, and McKennagate, as a means to subvert the will of true Essendon supporters. And torturing Jayden Laverde.

BAnon supporters can often be recognised by their use of the catch phrase “big bodied midfielder “ in online posting. That, and their entrenched belief the Club is farked.
It’s not known who the original B is. Though rumours persist he or she is linked to the communications specialist Tom Browne.

Club saying he’ll be back for the early rounds is very much club saying he is unlikely for round 1.

It is also the club saying they don’t have a good gauge on how far off he is, and they will know more based on how he responds.

Clubs, all of them, report as such and have done for decades. That’s not conspiracy theories, that’s reality. I don’t have a problem with it personally.
