I am half way through your book and enjoying it.
I know Bogie and Bacall starred in To Have and Have Not and The Big Sleep…I think the former was first.
Howard Hawks directed and took a real shine to Lauren who was only 25’ish. But she fell hook, line and sinker for Bogie.
If you want anything, just whistle! You do know how to whistle, don’t you? Just put your lips together and blow.
I think they were only together 8 years before he died of lung cancer.
