It’s usually a pretty good guide to the rank of the key players: start at the captain, alternate to the player the other side of the coach, and then keep flipping back and forth.

I think you’ll find that aside from those immediately around Hird - the rest are largely arranged by height :wink:

Ham’s and KAV were too small to break into the midfield row. Zerret has been put in his place

Chappy, Nob, Melk, Colyer, Pears, Cooney and whoever those other 2 are, are on the “outer” now Hird is back.

Edwards is held in the same esteem as Hooker.

Hird has made it all about himself. Harvey has split from Hird.
