LID OFF 2017 - Went all in, on a bluff, and had it called! The flop gives us a chance, on the turn it's 50/50, we're home on the river. Now to make a big run at the final table!

Not way do I want to play these ■■■■■.

Yes, we just lost to the Dogs, but I realised something.

1984 - Lost to Dogs, won the flag
1985 - Lost to Dogs, won the flag
1993 - Lost to Dogs, won the flag
2000 - Lost to Dogs (only loss for the entire year), won the flag
2017 - Lost to Dogs…

You join the dots.

It’s all going to my ladder predicted plan.

Dogs was just the loss we had to have.

Feeling very comfortable we will come out flying this week and then bring the house down by burying Adelaide after unleashing the beast.

From 11-9 then the world’s our oyster. We will climb into 8 as the other maybes fall by the wayside.

I mean Goldcoast and Fremantle to finish. Pfft.

GO BOMBERS!

I’ve got to give you props… that’s some great research.

I’d give you the points for the most lid off post in the thread.

Don’t know how far back smooth went, so I checked.
It happened as well in 1962, but not 1965…

Can someone confirm this?

This is the first time since 2000 that we have only lost 1 game by more than 50 or more points in a season (assuming we don’t lose by more than 50 in our next few games)

LID OFF

The catalyst.

It was the resulted disappointment of having botched the unlosable the week before against the current flag favourites.

Our boys know they are good enough, its getting the headspace right to bring it every week.

First time since 1999 (Round 4 vs Eagles at Subiaco, lost by 97). Yes.

Next closest was 2014 with two.

2006… 1994…

Boom knocked over Carlton despite struggling to kick the side of a barn going for goal…happens sometimes.

That kid begley might get his run against the crows whilst Raz rests his hamstrings.

Minor hiccup perhaps if zmerret cops a week. It’ll just make rolling the side in first even more sweeter.

Those lads needed a rest anyway. All good

Crows are a 6 goal crappier side away from home.

I mean collingwood drew with them 2 weeks ago with nothing to play for. Collingwood FFS.

Reckon they might think they are a chance with Zack and Raz out.

Boy are they going to be surprised.

GO BOMBERS!

I’m more confident about an Essendon win this week against the Crows, than against the GC in 2 weeks time.

Essendon by 20 points
