Interesting tone to this campaign, only using players Martin/Duz age and below.
No captain (obviously), VC or other senior players.
Hopefully reflects direction of the club.

Apologies in advance for this post and it’s irrelevance, I wasn’t sure where to post it but it’s something I’m genuinely excited to share.
Today I got offered a very minor role at the footy club. I will absolutely take the offer. Obviously I won’t disclose what it entails, but I am absolutely excited that I am gonna be part of the club in some capacity next year.
After working in a completely different field for many years, I took time this year to think of what I’m really passionate about. What I love is footy and EFC and I can’t wait to be a part of it all next year.
I never thought my career would take this turn, it’s always been a dream of mine to be involved at a footy club, but the one you support and love just means so much to me.

That campaign seems very odd to me. Seems like “we know we’re going to be sht for a while, but hey , you get to say "‘I saw them when they played at the Tote in front of 3 people, before the new guitarist joined’”

I worked at the club years ago. What it will do is make you realise how disconnected the public / media are to the internal reality and truth. Some of the stuff that gets said is laughable. It also made me feel different on match day. Especially given you had relationships with the players so you looked at things at the game in a different light.
enjoy the experience. It’s a great opportunity and it’s truly intoxicating in a good way!!
