While I am fully in board with the Docklands curse, we moved in in 2000. (We just didn’t have the aggregated damage in our legs from playing on concrete in 2000)
Except I remember in the late 2010s being excited by the youngsters Parish, McGrath, Merrett etc looking good and making it their team. It’s rinse and repeat.
(I really hope me posting in lid on has created a tear in space time that allows us to escape the cycle. Either that or it was all Dodoros fault and this next lot will move from looking good to actually being good long term AFL footballers)
Thanks for the enquiry efc0robbo and apologies for not extending the same courtesy, as most supporters are very dismayed about the current plight of Essendon Football Club including yourself, l think.
Although l do note the usual suspects are right onto this calamity and gorging on its entrails.
And that’s what that type are entitled to do, good luck to them.
Now once again efc0robbo, you disappoint but l appreciate the effort put in to reach out and drag me into your zone.
There is a distinction between a supporter choosing to watch the Dons tonight only because of Wangsneen-Milera, and l quote(
and a supporter like myself still attending the game despite the carnage of injury, with an eye on the young blokes wearing red and black to identify whether they have a future at the club.
It’s the nuance you’re not quite getting but can probably do better.
You’ve anointed me the biggest clapper (absurd even for you) so let me indulge and try and work out what you should be anointed.
