I agree it’s not an obvious list of players, but there are a lot of guys who could easily end up on the chopping block. Really, anyone in the 23-28 sort of bracket who got a one year contract extension last year is to some degree on a “let’s see how you go next year” contract. If we have a really good year, the prospects of those kind of guys being kept on longer as depth or role players is substantially improved, even if they don’t improve as players. If we follow our traditional pattern after losing an elimination final, there are plenty who could be casualties.
