I agree to an extent.
But coaches are supposed to build the player into what they can become.
Perkins (Like Tstatas and Hobbs) are being played out of position or as subs and it’s crushing their development.
Perkins at HF with bursts in the middle is what he is.
The players are given every resource available to improve…… if they want it.
Not just training facilities, coaches, dieticians, psychologists, etc.
But how many of them are sitting down with club legends once a month, and picking their brains on how they can get better?
How many of them have reached out to Jobe Watson, James Hird, Gavin Wanganeen, Terry Daniher, Dustin Fletcher, Joe Misiti, Garry O’Donnell? These blokes would be jumping out of their skins to have regular catch ups with players.
Here it is!!! 2024 Essendon player Review Part 2 is now out. See link below. Thanks to
Jasper from Flight Plan Pod for his help on the two part podcast.
With any good conversation or podcast, there is always someone who provides an alternative point of view for discussion and whether he is right or wrong he plays that role and sometimes he takes the hit for the team and the greater good of the podcast.
Just my take.
