Marngrook Footy Show - Harvey on 2nd May show

And KB, who I don’t often like, said that Tippa should have been awarded the frees for high tackles.

Really nice to hear Grant and KB talking sensibility about the Umps.

Enjoyed it, have not watched for quite a while, forgotten how entertaining it is.

Loved when they showed Doug Hawkins re the umpires. :grinning:

Not wearing EFC official gear. Interpret as you will…

Jake was suited up too, no offical gear.

All cool. I vaguely remember a running joke. Probably best left in the past.

That was a great edition. The natural chemistry between the panel members is so much better than the contrived BS we get on other shows.

Hey, wasn’t Harvs impressive tonight? Spoke 10 times better than on his From the Coach thingies. Looked and sounded…sober.

That suit is pimpin’. Throw in a red tie and we are talking sartorial excellence.

Marngrook report.

Conditions were dark, cold and wet, but quite warm in the studio.

The show warmed up with a kids handball competition. A young ruck prospect named Simon Madden performed well with some fancy behind the leg flick kicks in dress shoes, followed by a 7/10 performance in the handballing. Could be something with a few years development. His brother Justin is also worth watching, absolute giant and managed a 10/10 score. Could also become something.

Main show was entertaining. Good banter, some good insights across the competition. The Madden brothers were fun guests and gave good value across the rounds. Was interesting watching how a show is put together, enjoyed the evening. Well worth the trip out to Deakin Uni.

So if you want a different football experience, have a crack at getting tickets. Your ticket is paid for with volume, cheering loud is a key skill.
