I thought we controlled that game pretty well, it never looked like it was easy for them to score and I felt we were a danger every time we went inside 50.
Lots of free goals for them, felt like a 4-5 goal win without the umpire assistance. They got several goals from umpiring and we lost the ball several times in our forward line.
Saad clearly best on for mine, Shiel/Smith/McGrath/Ridley/Merrett probably next best. McKernan and Stringer also good. Parish last quarter was total beast mode.
Zaharakis, Snelling, Francis, Bellcho should be a little worried at the selection table

Lizard isn’t over rated. He was very good last year and he is going to be a very very good player aswell. Can’t compare of one ■■■■ game though obviously.
how is that different to any other forward who plays the game? hardly any forward dominstes a whole game

Bit unfair on Francis here. Yes he had a few moments that were brain fades but he did much more good than bad. Left his player alot of the times at the right time to influence a contest and spoil it and also took a few marks where we needed (apart from the one in the last)

I thought Bellcho, whilst he wasn’t exactly good, toiled pretty hard. First two games now he’s gone up against two, unsurprisingly they’ve looked fresher as the game’s worn on.
All the smaller fwds bar AM-T were pretty ordinary. Townsend Zaha Snelling all had 5 ish touches each.

Happens every farkin time we play therm up there.
The only real obvious change for me is we looked too tall down back - 6 goals bw Papley & Taylor.
And he seemed to be the worst of the taller backs, if we’re to redress that balance.
Personally I’d still go Hooker fwd, and keep Frang but he didn’t help himself. Two really dumb brainfades, and let it get over the back a couple of times.
Thought Townsend competed strongly whenever the ball was near him which is pretty critical on D50 exits and broke even a fair bit. Also bashed Kennedy which gave him extra points.
Zaharakis was utter rubbish, Snelling not much better.

Had an average game and discipline was an issue. Might have been better off swinging him forward and sending guelfi back
