Match review. Hawks victim 1

The 2nd quarter really worried me.

We became selfish in the forward line and became about ‘me’ and not ‘team’.

But the usual crushing blow didn’t come and we rallied…

And I cried.

I’m not afraid to say so.

Yes I cried the pub. My Hawks best mate was gracious. Emotional.

In a train in Paris, fist pumping, swearing and very close to tears. Locals think I’m disabled.

I love this club.

Agree totally with Gleeson. So many head shakes.

Took the nephew who’s Dad is a cats fan…locked him in as a Bomber for life. Tippa and “the crazy hair dude” Heppell his favourite players now. Loved the march, the game, the boys being back and a sea of red and black smiling fans on the footy train home!

Go Dons!!

How emotional was that second Stanton goal?? If you didn’t choke up a bit then I don’t think you ever will.

Just got home. Had horrific gastro. Nearly shat my pants at the game multiple times. Left gastro wife and son at home. She’s ■■■■■■. Worth it.

Guess what - I also didn’t think we played that well. This is a good thing! Heaps and heaps and heaps of improvement in the tank.

The feeling after this win, its like a release of so much tension and anger. To have the boys back…just brilliant.

Home now. Drenched in sweat. One of the best, most emotional wins ever. Not enough love for little Marty Gleeson - just awesome. BJ, Parish, Zerrett, Hep, Smack, where do I start? Hawks fans filthy, lol. Big shout at to all the fans who came from interstate to watch that, especially the WA fans and the big Tassie contingent. Get a heart Rioli you ■■■■■. Wind picked up in the last but we stood tall. The Bomber fans were in full voice, noise was deafening. Geez I’m ■■■■■■ happy. Wait till we get Tommy back in to help Smack! And that little ripper Andy McGrath - welcome to Bomberland son, you played a cracking debut. But biggest cudos (sp?) to our superstar number 13. Oh yeah, and Walla. Sorry, I’m all over the shop. Go Bombers, we’re back in town!!!

I have a sneaking suspicion that J Sicily is going to join the ranks of hated Hawthorn players. Needs his lights punched out…and not just for having that ginger hair.

That midfield of the future with Zerrett, McGrath and Parish in it…
Goodness me. … :grinning:

Anyone who has a bad word to say about any of our 22 is a bum.
That was a superb 4 quarter performance against a team who has owned us for years.
They were amazing!
Carn the Bombers!!!

That noise when the players ran out was the loudest noise I’ve ever heard at the G.

Rather a pity that the second post directly followed the first.
