Match review. Hawks victim 1

Their former football operations manager was about to get investigated/charged or arrested for paedophilia. One of the main witnesses was his son. He took a different way out.

Too ■■■■■■ expensive to do that in Singapore, alcohol is ridiculously expensive there.

I didn’t know about that. Thanks for clearing that up Barnz.

I turned the game on and the Hawks kicked 3 in a row to take the lead. Knowing I’m a bad luck charm, I turned the TV off and went back to my guests.

No need to thank me.

At least you did the right then, unlike those other ■■■■■■ that continue watching hoping something will change.

How good was that. Wow not sure what to say.

Highlight of the night was pointing out Rioli didn’t go hard enough for mark/he hear footsteps on defensive 50 in the 3rd quarter. Zaharakis kicks the resultant goal and the Hawthorn chump next to me points out to me Cyril has 4 premiership medals. I quickly retorted that things weren’t so easy as a senior player and that he “shoudl’ve” taken the mark. The reply was a classic ‘well maybe you would have won more than 3 game last year if Daniher kicked the goals he “should’ve”…’. Two minutes later Joe nails a pass to Hepp in the goal square and I mention 'yep Joe’s kicking really lets him down. ’ Muppet

Farking lid off. I hope they are rubbish just like Vickery is!

Heppell was huge, those clutch captain goals were something special.

Parish will be a superstar for our club no doubt, he just doesnt give up.

I don’t see many games live living in Tas, but ■■■■■■ hell im glad i made the effort for this one!

Watching those highlights was awesome. Fark it’s good to see the boys back out there.

In that vein, I farking hate Hawthorn with a passion, but it was fantastic to see Roughead playing again. One of the very few likeable hawks players. Hope he plays many more fine games (and Hawthorn lose them all).

Go Dons!

Home. Throat’s raw from yelling, heart’s swollen with pride.
Love our boys.
The most joyous aspect of our win is to see the them happy again.

That was like a Grand Final for us.

The positives are just immense: Kelly just controlled our defence throughout that second half, Jobe’s hands are still the best in the business, Parish is going to have a huge year with all those mids surrounding him, Heppell is back to his very best, Merrett could go back-to-back in the B’n’F, Fantasia is a smoky for All Australian, Daniher looked great roaming around the ground, Hooker can kick and set up a huge sum of goals, McKernan looked and played like a man possessed, McGrath looked so composed on such a big stage and Ambrose along with Hartley could both be two of the most underrated defenders in the competition. I could go on.

We beat Hawthorn at their own game. Our uncontested possessions and marks along with our precise kicking and ball movement completely destroyed them.

Vickery is a dead set spud. He will cost the Dawks many games before they get rid of him.

Clarko talked about Francis in his presser. Is that a sign or what?

Half way through the replay. Enjoying every minute!

Went down to the fence after the game. The huge smile on Jobe’s face as he high fived all the fans made my night. To see him so happy and the pure elation had by all. Absolutely tear jerking!
