That’s what I’m thinking. We have to improve the fitness levels so there was no break for them.
However, there could have been far better communication if that were the case.

Maybe it’s not about this year, as in the results, but about building the foundations for next year and especially the years after that. Not that you set out to lose or accept big blow outs, but it’s part of the pain you have to endure to get the relevant gains.

We are a laughing stock. An embarrassment to the competition. We are mocked by every supporter of every other team. At least North have a juicy draft hand and a good young midfield to build on, whilst WCE won a premiership 5 years ago. 20+ years of utter misery following this club.
Our “best” players can’t even make a tackle FFS. Our “leaders” are pathetic, can’t be arsed tackling or even putting their hands up on the mark FFS. We have zero hope, nothing to be happy with, nothing to build on as the foundations are pathetic and utter marshmellows. There has never been a more hopeless time to be an Essington supporter, and I’ve never felt more disillusioned in my miserable Essington supporting life following this utter failure of a club. I even have Carlton friends feeling sorry for me. What absolute scenes, an entirely wasted year with no end to the misery in sight. Infact next year it could be new depths of bad if Langford can’t repeat his out of the box year and we lose Bryan and co.
Good luck next year folks, I’m finding a new hobby.

We’ll next surpass Collingwood’s record of 32 years (1958-1990).
We’ll chase down Richmond’s of 37 years (1980- 2017).
Then onto Dees 57 years (1964 - 2021)
Bulldogs 62 (1954 - 2016)
And then finally Sth Melb/Sydney Swans record of 72 years (1933 - 2005).
But hey! At least we ain’t the Saints huh?
Our next finals win seems a lifetime away, let alone a flag given the finish to the last two seasons.
