Had to laugh there was a passage of play last night possibly 3rd qtr where Snelling got the ball out from the centre square and another of our smaller guys (can’t remember who) kept putting in second and third efforts to get the ball up to our attacking F50 and BT kept calling it was “Snell & Snell again”
Maybe have a look at the numbers on the back BT
It was Ham. Initially he called it right (Snelling getting it out to Ham) then decided it was Snelling.
Snelling would take ten minutes to run that far!

Couple of little things from last night
Raz- he didn’t star by any means. But there was a few little signs that he is starting to get some form and proper match fitness back.i actually don’t mind the idea of him playing HB at times. Gets him some easy touches and allows him to use his speed going forward.
Some of the little tap ons, shepherds, blocks etc were great to see. Just shows that you don’t need to have the ball in hand in order to make an impact For the team
Great to see hooker clunking the ball in the backline, even when pies were really pressing he took the contested marks which settled us
Our pressure really rattled Collingwood, it was great to see

Let’s keep it real. Daniher ain’t playing for a while & neither is Heppell. Who knows about Stewart.
I don’t see Mckeena as interchangeable with Gleeson. They offer something different from each other. Once Francis is injury free, Gleeson should make way. That said, perhaps Mckeena can play on a wing or up forward?
We need to find coverage for Stringer. This is our biggest issue.
After climbing Mt Collingwood we now find that we have lost some of our most important explorers. Such a shame he is going to be out for 2 months… fark.
Maybe we will have another lock down period, that will help him heal without as much of an issue.

No fake crowd noise needed for the Shiel goal in the last minutes. The Essendon players made enough noise, as the ball left his boot you heard the FARK YEAH!!!

Yeah, that’s what worries me. I’ll keep it somewhere safe just in case.
People should remember that Michael Long was the first person (AFAIKR) that introduced this technique and made it a useful attacking method in football.

How was that spud Maynard? Very good player. We laughed at him when he was pantsed by Fantasia. Not laughing now as Fantasia tip-toes around the field getting cheapies in the back half offering very little whilst this bloke attacks every contest like his live depends on it.

Very rare to find kind of player… yeah he spuds up and is a complete nuff , but he’s a tough bastard, will smash himself for the ball. Kind of a Solomon / M Johnson kind of guy (kind of).
