Still makes my blood boil.

We’ve got a sick household here.

Anyone want level 3 reserved seats? 2 adults and 2 children.

Edit: Tickets gone.

Victory will be ours if we play with the tenacity of our cale hooker TOTEM SPIRIT.

You can tell who the traumatised supporters are.

Still ■■■■■■ they took down the Herb video of that game.

In good form with momentum and heading into a home game as underdogs against an interstate team…this has Bombers win written all over it.

I’m doing it myself.

This is a big game for us. Win and it shows we are building into a competitive team. A team that wins key matches. Very least we put in 4 full qtrs.

I want to see Zach grab this (his) side and lead them to victory.

I really, really want to win today. Not sure what it is. I have low expectations generally but I think I might be feeling a touch optimistic today. I’m trying to suppress it. Optimism leads to disappointment.

By the pricking of my thumb, something wicked this way comes….

No one in the comp respects us, even when we sit 5th because they know we’ll fall to bits in the second half like every other year. Going on mini winning streaks is nothing new for this club, as is winning ugly. The downhill fall is kind of starting to roll with Duursma injured, Draper injured, next it might be McKay? then the heads drop and wouldn’t you know it we’re 11th and fighting to scrape into finals.

I’m expecting us to get utterly overwhelmed against GWS today, a big loss, just because I refuse to trust us until we’ve actually won it. I’m not getting suckered in again. But if, IF, we actually could win today the media will sit up and think maybe this year is different and perhaps some long suffering fans too.

They will be applying express pressure all game, and they have elite half backs and mids, lets see how we respond under finals type pressure. GWS by 66.

I don’t think it will be like last time. I’m hoping and expecting that we’ll play a really hard game.

My worries are 1) inability to convert good play into scores, especially goals, on the board; 2) inability to press on and build a lead into an unbridgeable gap; 3) “off” periods when we let them get on top and score multiple goals.

My hopes are 1) hard, sustained pressure for 85-95% of the game; 2) coherent forward play leading to clear and accurate shots at goal; 3) dominance in the centre and around the packs; 4) cool heads and accurate passes in the backline; 5) a win.

My expectation is bits of all the above. Where it will all end up I have no idea. This is a winnable game, but that doesn’t mean we’ll win it.

Lucky for McGrath it’s not Lou’s kicking challenge.

Am I? think I’ve made 2 posts all morning.

And that one was a positive post about Archie’s kicking, cleverly disguised as a dig at McGrath’s kicking.
