What about the Joe Dan contested mark he took over his opponent who just barely got a finger tip to the contest? The maggot called it as touched! But only after Joe was walking back to take his kick did he call play on so Joe had to suddenly dispose of the ball. A good chance at a goal stripped away. There must be hundreds if not thousands of contested marks that have been taken each year where the opponent has got more touch on the ball than in that contest but the maggot has not over-ruled it.
There are many other disgraceful maggoty interventions- as detailed in the match thread. But that is one of the most very egregious.
