Dodoro put this club behind years. Yeah, i have no doubt our culture and development have sucked but ultimately it comes down to who you are recruiting

Another draft he absolutely butchered Hobbs into Alastair Lord into Garrett Mcdonagh. Then Voss in the rookie draft and Massimo in the mid season.

Players from other clubs, SSP and mid season picks. The idiot butchered pretty much every single first round pick.
Reid has the ability but cant get on the park, Bryan might be ok but wont be an star.

Don’t limit it to first round picks. 2nd round and 3rd rounds were garbage too. Bryan yeah, TBC.
I’m actually not super bullish on Bryan tbf.
The fact that Voss and Massimo are elsewhere is unacceptable.

Australian squad and Voss kicked 40 odd goals last year.
Not a good look that our club could not get the best out of either and to be frank Brad in his wisdom gave neither a reasonable go. For Voss not to get 1 game was embarrassing.

Lots of players make the squad and Peter Wright kicked 50 goals in his debut and won the club B & F. Things could have been handled differently for sure but let’s not pretend we’ve lost a couple of superstars here!!

I don’t know……. I think getting games into Jake Stringer and Jake Kelly, was garruntee to win us a Premiership.
Massimo was poor management by the list department, Brad gave him opportunity albeit very little consistency (which is what all developing need most imo).
Voss was the big blunder imo, he showed enough in a position we needed and had an energy and attitude we really lacked and still lack around the field but especially up front. We have been a nice team for too long and our KPFs regardless of their talent are a soft bunch; 2MP, May (early days), Langford, McMahon, Edwards, Jones.
It’s leaving a lot for Caddy to shoulder. Gerreyne has some potential to provide team lifting energy but he seems to have been moved into defence for the time being.
Voss had his obvious personal issues off field but it is dissapointing that the coaches and leadership of the club didn’t have the ability to reign that in, or at the very least attempt to.
We finally have the nucleus of a good forwardline with Caddy and Kako (+ maybe Huss) but Rosa needs to be surrounding them with guys who will make their job easier and that will provide protection when clubs inevitably start heavily targetting them.
