Melbourne Death Ride 2025 - we’re getting the next Andy McGrath

3 games for me.

Our games.
Dees games.
And FarkCarlton games (that has no impact on us, I just hate them)

Losses to wins.
1 - 0 . Keep the losses coming Dees.

I wish we could just add Melbourne’s losses to ours and get pick 1

But maybe we can throw our pick together with the Dees for pick one.

When you watch a game like that was, it sticks out like a sore thumb how far we have to go. In wet conditions, hardly a mistake made by either side. They hit targets, handle the ball cleanly, stick tackles, man up quickly when the opposition gets the ball, pick the right option…you could go on and on.
It’s not just one or two players, its across the board.
We are light years behind that sort of consistent performance of all the requirements of the modern game.

Pick 9 atm

Lets hope they keep losing where its a top 10 pick

Unfortunately the hawks have Carlton’s pick 1 & 2 this year… kind of takes the fun out of blues losing.

Positive = Thats 4 points they didn’t get today. Every loss is gold.

Negative = They looked pretty bl00dy decent IMO. Look like they’ll go ok this year.

Too many A graders on their list for them to really bottom out, unless they get a bunch of injuries.

I didn’t think either side looked very good.
I’d expect GWS to look better at home.

Yeah they looked good with some very good players to come back from injury/suspension

I fell asleep watching today.

Gawn had a free run. Thats not happening every week.

Heck I think North might prove a little tricky for them this week.

Wow - didn’t know that. How did that work? … I googled and found that they traded in Hawthorn’s pick 14 for next year’s 1st rounder, but when I look at the 2024 draft I can see that FC had pick 3 (Jagga Smith) and pick 40 (O’Farrell) … what happened in the swap?

Anyway - great to know FC are screwed for more years to come.

The Hawks are trade week guns. They’re great at getting value for their pick swaps and at picking undervalued players. I think half their team Friday came from other clubs. Some big names but mainly value picks. It sucks.
