Melbourne Death Ride 2025 - we’re getting the next Andy McGrath

The red and white scum will bounce back. Everything went wrong for them this year

That’s a bit masochistic. We aren’t north Melbourne.

its nice to win football games.

They are a tad overrated.

They have those elite running distribution types the modern game needs.

But I am still unconvinced with their forward setup. Papley is a year older, Amartey can be a little hit and miss.

Wouldn’t suprise me if they go big game hunting in the free agency/trade market again. They have been linked to Curnow?

Supporting Essendon for long periods of time is not without consequences.

Yes I think half the supporter base now has some sort of mental illness.

I’m sure it will be diagnosed by psychiatrists soon enough.

Donitis or something like that.

Seasonal Delusion of grandeur around the end of April, depression, anxiety, mood swings etc.

There were a few times where Melky looked like single-handedly derailing the deathride. He’s now free to carve it up in 2026.

Such a shame the saga cost us Melk and Hibbard

Kako, Gerry, Clarke and Pick 5 for Lindsay.

I think Melbourne will be happy with Lindsay, but we’ve done extremely well with that haul. Clarke and Kako both look like 200+ gamers.

When did Melbourne hire this bloke as their ceo

Yeah that’s the ticket.

I’ve worked with Paul Guerra a decent amount in his current role. The bloke is useless and always use to stuff up things we were trying to achieve as a collective across multiple organisations. He also is a dial a quote and loves getting himself in the media and the attention it brings. My boss and i laughed when we heard Melbourne fell for his dribble, coz it’s all froth no cappuccino.

He’s actually an Essendon supporter and wanted to be our ceo a few years ago.

Steven King their new coach apparently…

No idea if he’s a good coach, but he has decent experience; was at the Dogs for their flag and now senior assistant at Geelong, plus stints at the Saints (when they were playing finals) and Gold Coast.

It’s been such a fun ride this year that I’d love us to secure a future first for next year.

Fortunately we have essendon’s future first and I reckon that’s going to be pretty good!

I never even heard bucks was out of the race, so this comes as a surprise.

Ruckman as coach = Fail. I want another deathride next season!

I think Bucks might have been surprised too.
