the problem is, if our forwards are playing in defence, it’ll be because the it’s a repeat of the bulldogs game.
We have Hayes, Reid, McKay probably flagged as our future backline but aside from Caddy no proven forwards. Why not pick a few more and see if they can be a part of our future instead of plugging holes down back in 2025.

Ridley and McKay will both be back in 4-5 weeks.
Like the May and McMahon picks.
But why would you choose a ruck if you’ve got two forwards who can pinch hit in the ruck
And there’s about 5 of our VFL blokes I would’ve picked before Smartt

Missed opportunity with those last two selections imo.
Smartt clearly a Harley based decision.
McMahon is the best forward in the vfl, but not sure we needed two KPFs.
I’d have rather have picked two 19yo like Evans and Ali, who will imo both likely be picked in the main draft this year.
Smarrt is mates with Harley and Caddy
