None of them are midfielders!

To be fair, although he picked out something “good” about most players, he was much more hesitant to label their overall game as good. I think only 2-3 got a good or great epithet for their game.

Ha, we could be facing Casey at Windy Hill (finally) in round 14 then immediately back again for the first VFLW final as teams 1+2.

Eagle Eyes might’ve noticed that our round 9 clash is a curtain raiser on the MCG before dreamtime.

And by “before Dreamtime” you mean starting 6.5 hours before. Geez.

Dreamtime starts at 9:30?

I may have been assuming no one would be silly enough not to use 24 hour time.

Any chance we can get these 2 to pull on the VFL jumper?

TIWI DUO STARRING AT GORMANDALE:

Gormandale president Daniel Earl has expressed his gratitude to his two Tiwi recruits for pulling on a Gormandale Football Club jumper.

“A huge thank you to the Northern Territory and Tiwi Island community for giving us the opportunity to showcase two of your superstars in Dion Munkara and Adam Tipungwuti,” Earl said.

“The way these two footballers conduct themselves is a credit to everyone.

“The atmosphere they bring on gameday is second to none.”

Gormandale compete in the North Gippsland Football League.

The Tigers lost to Sale City by five points yesterday with both Munkara (two goals) and Tipungwuti (one goal) hitting the scoreboard.

Hopefully the link between the Gormandale Football Club and the Northern Territory can continue to grow over the coming years.
