“While stationary at holding point A, a privately-operated Piper PA-32R-300 taxied into position behind the Cessna 152, awaiting departure for a flight to Broken Hill, New South Wales. After a brief pause, the PA-32R began rolling forward until the propeller contacted the 152’s tail structure.”
On take off at Tulla the flight was aborted at the last second due to loss of instrumentation. It slammed on the breaks and ran off into the run off lane. Scary stuff.
Ahh, makes sense as probably will need to shuffle the deck to find spare aircraft. I just booked her on the BNE flight instead and work can pay her Uber/taxi down to the Gold Coast
I was on BA16 and we just turned around and came back to Sydney. Its a B787-9, had a strong smell of fuel on the flight deck apparently. Not sure if a PAN PAN was called, but the fire trucks were waiting for us to land
