The lycoming powered (as this one was) aircraft perhaps.
The new Austro common rail diesel powered aircraft are incredible.
Interesting. I read the opposite. I have a lot of hours on Lycoming and have had a great run. A plugged injector and failed mag over the years is all.
We have a number of operators with our systems in DA-42s.
All rave how good the new engine is.
Another one from the past, always suspected as âmurder/suicide by pilotâ. The Chinese were never going to openly admit it.
Flight data bolsters claim China Eastern plane was deliberately crashed in 2022
More than four years after a Boeing 737-800 passenger jet plunged 29,000 feet and crashed into a mountain in southern China, killing all 132 people on board, newly released data appears to indicate that someone in the cockpit may have intentionally switched off the fuel supply to the engines.
It was Chinaâs deadliest air disaster in decades, but the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) has not addressed the crucial question of what had prompted the deadly nosedive of China Eastern Airlines flight MU5735 in March 2022 in remote Guangxi region.
Data released by the US National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) in response to a freedom of information request, shows that the fuel switches to both engines were shut off simultaneously before the Boeing 737-800 jet dropped out of the sky.
Jeez, absolutely terrifying. Poor souls.
Jumped the fence and got dismembered by a plane. Interesting way to go.
Partially consumed by one of the engines
Interesting way to end your life
Canât believe the passengers had to file past that engine
A French movie for the frequent flyers in this thread, and it is very well done. A plane crashes in the Alps and 300 + die. A brilliant yet obsessive/compulsive young investigator is excluded from the crash site, but he refuses to be sidelined and begins to piece the events together forensically. Sure, parts are far-fetched for dramatic effect, but it is well done, and the technical side of things sound plausible.
Black Box 2021. 130 min.
Fridays Qantas QF21 Melbourne to Dallas diverted to Tahiti after a passenger bit a crew member. The Kiwi passenger was restrained and then crew tried to sedate him without success. Some good footage of the incident.
Câmon you guys, whoâs got the video of the 2 US Navy jets copulating?
This is 100% going to be TURN IT UP fodder on Bounce next weekend.
WTF would you use Growlerâs for an aerobatic display. $125M each.
With a âpiggybackâ collision like that, theyâre extremely lucky that both canopies were clear and both crews were able to cleanly eject.
