Missing/crashed planes, and other aviation mis/adventures

Or two. Not ideal.

Not a mis-adventure - yet.

I’d say almost zero chance of happening without some serious changes in their setup. It’s the very definition of cabotage

Sabotage of cabbages?

Did some digging with senior management this morning and their understanding is that Vietjet are looking at a partnership with the newly created Koala Airlines to get around some of the loopholes. Koala still hasn’t ticked all the boxes so anything concrete might still be a while away.
I was also told that practically no slots left at SYD or MEL but the various governments are throwing around cash incentives to airlines to fly out of WSI and Avalon so I suspect that will be their bases.
Nearly all LCC operators in Australia have failed for various reasons and with the rules and regulations it makes it very hard to make money so let’s see how long they last

A hell of a way to do your first solo.

Narrative:
A 42-year-old flight instructor died after apparently falling from a small plane. The incident occurred in a rural area of Toledo, in the Río Segundo department, after the aircraft took off from Coronel Olmedo Airport.

According to sources, the man was accompanying a 22-year-old student at the time of the fatal fall. The young woman managed to land the plane and reported the incident.

Then, on the second flight, the critical situation occurred. “At one point during the flight he says to him: ‘Well Rosario, you already know well what you have to do, that’s where the airfield is,’” Álvarez said about the exchange inside the cabin. From there, the instructor performed a brief sequence of actions before throwing himself. “He took out his headphones, placed his documentation and his phone on top of the dashboard, took off his belt, opened the door and threw himself,” he said.

It was lost very close to the Iran/USA shooting match

Yes, that occurred to me too, although it’s 600km from the action.
You’d never rule out either side in making a “mistake”.

Perhaps they had a bunch of systems issues and it overwhelemed them.

Love the people asking where are their PFDs? if they had of listened to the mandatory safety briefing they would have known. I’m glad they are all okay.
