MRO - 2019 Same-same, but different

And he thought the umpire should have warned him. I believe there’s a recent precedent.

Geelong not challenging the suspension. g Ablett out 1 week.

About fking time.

3rd time lucky / 3 strikes you’re out??

If they’d suspended him the 1st time as they should have, there most likely wouldn’t have been 2 other incidents. Prick just went on as if with impunity with each act worse than the last until they finally dropped the hammer.

Have to be an element behind Cats saying fk it on spending the $$ to defend him.

3wks in a row he does something similar

Pull your head in junior

Some ‘hammer’! He should have gone the first time and the second. Maybe, he’ll go now but Geelong will probably take it the the Tribunal and they’ll let him off (again). Let’s hope not.

Credit to GAJ for exposing the AFL for the cheats they are.

Embarrassing them for the third time was always going to be a bridge too far.

We found that Ablett doesn’t have the Adam Goodes pull.

Goodes would have copped carry over points, for good behaviour… even though he was reported 3 times during the season. And got off.

Something seriously wrong with Ablett. Weird. The guy whose team is on top of the ladder, who is playing extremely well especially for a 36 year old. The guy who has millisecond decision making capabilities and displayed amazing physical coordination and reflexes over the last 18 years, all of a sudden gets cited for striking 3 time in 4 weeks and blames it on clumsiness and says its unintentional?

WTF? Even Chris “Gazza can do no wrong” Scott has been forced to admit the pattern of behaviour is unacceptable.

Playing angry? Personal problems, or just that GAJ now realises at 36, its all about to end?

I think last point is somewhere around the money.

He is still in the top echelon of players skill wise, but things he was able to do and the way the game is currently played isn’t compatible with where he sees himself and his skill set.

He can still influence games but the dominance he previously displayed is in the past and so he’s getting frustrated.

Maybe time for him to call it a day if he isn’t able to adjust thinking and expectations.

Might be getting a bit sensitive to certain types of sledging, like “wheres your zimmer frame Gaz”. Players can be ageist as much as you like on the footy field. Whatever, It would be no secret amongst AFL players what pushes his button.

There is major stuff happening with his Dad and GAJ could be upset by the proceedings becoming very public and going to court.

Or he could just be being a k.nob.

Yep, being interviewed for historical sexual assault allegations.

Imagine my shock.

Never, ever go to a hotel with an Ablett.

While you might be able to insinuate something about Senior, it is on record, saying “an Ablett” indicates that you should watch out for the rest, that is very close to slander against Jnr and Nathan, both of whom have never done any of those things.
