There are plenty of candidates for the best Oz pop/rock anthem but for mine String of Pearls beats them all. Why it isn’t worshiped and revered like so many inferior pop/rock ditties is beyond me.
Just found this sublime live version with a band capable of doing the song credit including the wonderful Niko Shauble on drums.
Check out the look on Deb’s face at the end. She knows they nailed it.
