Robert Smith was always quite upfront that In Between Days is a very deliberate pastiche of New Order. Even down to its title not actually being used in the lyrics (something New Order regularly did).
One of the very few Cure songs I like.

Joe Bonamassa live, this one opens with a Jeff Beck riff (Ain’t Superstitious), then about the 7.12 mark he transitions into Led Zeppelin territory (off their first album).
