Yeah this one’s killing me too, can’t think of the proper title either
I wish I could google. I think it is Sounds of Australia or something like that.
28 Moving Pictures (or Nollsy take your pick) - What About Me
goddangit
Every time, I go through the list 2-3 times and manage to piece together a few. Then as soon as I post my 5th, another fkn 10 or so instantly jump out at me
-edit- also wtf, If You Had My Love was in the 90s??
- What’s My Scene - Hoodoo Gurus
- Say I Love You - Renee Geyer
44 Come Anytime - Hoodoo Gurus
I never knew it was called that. And I’ve heard it about eight times this week.
Kinda like how the Pina Colada song is actually called “Escape” but nobody remembered it, so he added “The Pina Colada Song” to the end of it.
- Soul Kind Of Feeling - Dynamic Hepnotics
- Send Me An Angel - Real Life
huh
today I learned that song is Australian
Damn you!!!
- Chained To The Wheel - The Black Sorrows
Soiya!
I think on later Gangajang compilation albums it was subtitled “This Is Australia”. Considering how many people know the song 35-ish years later, it’s quite strange to think it was actually a flop at the time of its release and only barely made the very lower reaches of the Top 50.
- We Gotta Get Out of This Place - The Angels (but originally by The Animals?)
21 Crowded House - Don’t Dream It’s Over
- I Can’t Help Myself - Icehouse
(Bakes beat me to gurus)
19 Tuckers Daughter - Ian Moss
50 is The Church, Under the Milky Way
