NBA 2018/19 Ben Simmons is ROTY. MEGA THREAD!

It will all depend on if they think they can talk him into signing for longer, he goes to either of those teams and they are automatically a contender

Think about this, he goes to the Celtics for Jaylen Brown and parts and the celts trot out this starting 5

Irving
Tatum
Leonard
Hayward
Horford

That’s amazing

It may still backfire but remember Ainge did it with Kyrie not even a year ago, OKC with PG13, teams are not afraid of it if it means they are going to contend.

That’s the thing. Unless a sign-and-trade can be arranged, but then that’s effectively committing to the franchise for multiple years. I don’t blame him for not doing that. He’s trying to force Spurs into sending him to LA. They are well within their rights to pursue the best deal they can for him, but for a one-year rental you will only get so much, even for someone as decorated as a 2 x DPOY and Finals MVP.

Wonder if Cleveland is a chance.
They give up this year’s pick plus a future pick and maybe a youngish player?
Doubtful, but you never know.

Edit…
No hope. Cap space is terrible.

The Ringer thought they’re a chance too

Puma making a push into the NBA market with the help of Jay Z and signed Ayton.

Wouldn’t have a clue on sneakers these days. Still Nike, Adidas, Reebok and to a lesser extent Underarmour?

Is say it’s Nike>Jordan>Adidas>UA

Playing Myteam mode on 2k you learn pretty quick which players are endorsed by what companies

UA has Curry as their only real big name

Adidas has Harden, Embiid, Lillard, Porzingus off the top of my head

oh boy, you wear adidas you get the whistle

Lol don’t forget Derrick Rose is on a monster Adidas endorsement

Is Converse much of a brand these days?

I think UA has overtaken Adidas now. @matrixgeek would know, but he gone now.

Was it Puma that was started by Adi dasler’s little bro?

Nup, pretty low end.

Ruda’s just don’t have the same ring to them.

He was the older brother, and the bigger Nazi btw

Not even close, they endorse about 15 guys in the NBA, Adidas is around 60. It’s just that one of those guys is Steph Curry, the next biggest name after him is probably Patty Mills.

Hang on are we talking endorsements or sales?

Update:

It’s more than 60, this is a list of people who are either in the NBA or a team has their rights who are endorsed by Adidas
