@fogdog thoughts on the Philly trade? Philly the big winner there for meā¦ Bridges was a good fit for that system but there are three star FA 3 men in this yearās crop. Big roll of the dice by Phoenix considering you donāt usually get production out of big men until they are 22-23. Might only be seeing the start of what Ayton is capable of in 2021.

They drafted the perfect player they needed and traded him for a player that canāt shoot 3s and a pick in 3 years when they are trying to win now.
Only way they win that trade is if they can flick that pick for someone that can help them now

Saves them a bunch in salary, over a $1M pa difference between 10 and 16. Smith is an athletic freak, but itās a huge risk on the flipside, because heās not very big. Miamiās first round pick in 2021 might be the best of it.
All depends on whether Phoenix comes good I suppose. If theyāre still a <30 win team in the next couple of seasons that pick starts to look very sexy.
Could be an asset for a Leonard trade, even if itās for one season.
Iām sure they did it for the Miami pick but thatās not helping them for another 5 years!
As a Sun Iām wrapped with this trade, itās helps space the floor for Booker and Ayton and helps us now instead of being crap for a another 3 years.
