NBA 2017-18 - Ben Simmons is here

Yeah was purely talking numbers

Kidd averaged 12, 7 and 9 for his career

Ball is averaging 9, 7 and 8 in his rookie season

Albeit on 12% FG%

Don’t see it

Even from the start - stat wise, Kidd was a much much better FG and 3pt shooter and averaged 2 steals a game straight out of the gate

Jazz give the Wizards a mighty flogging.
2nd worst loss in franchise history (71 against the Bucks of Robertson and Kareem vintage).
Donavan Mitchell might just be an outside threat to Simmons ROTY.

If Lonzo gets his shot right, plays with more intensity and actually attacks the defence (and get to the free throw line), then he’ll warrant Jason Kidd comparisons.

His rebounded is a big point of difference, but he’s closer to being compared to Ricky Rubio.

Tatum’s 3P% is better than Lonzo’s FT% … wow.

Lonzo is a bad free throw shooter.
But it’s even worse because he barely gets to the free throw line. 19 free throw attempts in the month of November is pathetic. Ben Simmons got to the line more often in one games (and still shot better).
Lonzo doesn’t attack the basket enough.
He needs in game practice to improve his free throw shooting.

In the off season, he needs to change that horrendous shooting action. Not even Kevin Martin or Shaun Marion can salvage that shooting action.

OKC are so dysfunctional it’s ridiculous. Russ has taken a massive step back this year too.

Booker… :slightly_frowning_face:

he’s shooting Shaq numbers at the line but teams are not even worried enough to send him to the line.

Simmons vs Lonzo round 2 today. Hope he gives him another masterclass in basketball.

Jahil Okafor finally got traded.

"Philly will send Okafor, Nik Stauskas, and a second-round pick to Brooklyn for Trevor Booker, "

Booker is going to be nice for the 76ers.

Who thought the Celtics would be the best team in Basketball in December?

Tatum has exceeded all expectation.

You’d have to assume he’d come off the bench when Gordon comes back.

Would be a filthy smallball lineup with Irving/Brown/Tatum/Hayward/Horford though.

Brown has taken his game to another level too.

Simmons and Lonzo could both triple double

Anyone remember the last time two rookies both had triple-doubles in the same game?

Carter-Williams and Oladipo in an OT classic.

this games exciting.

Simmons has done his part. Dont think Lonzo will make it
