They are really not, they are all awesome donāt get me wrong, but none of them do it across the board like Simmons does. He is still on track to have the best rookie season since Oscar Robertson.
People are taking his 15/9/8 games for granted

Thatās a pretty big discrepancy - and heās got the most impressive defensive stats of the class too.
Also keep in mind Simmons has probably been the best player on a team thatās going to improve itās record by maybe 15 or 20 wins from year to year. Itās not quite a fait accompli but a lot would need to change.

Just slightly no. But the understanding those two have built in such a short time is amazing.
If the vote was now it would definitely be Ben.
Iām just saying that those other guys are playing extremely well, particularly Mitchell. His last 10 games are like 24ppg at 50/40/90 levels and leading the team to win
A lot can change post-ASB. Rooks tend to get tired and drop off.

Benās non jump shot is really becoming an issue.
They know he isnāt going to pull up for a jumper. So if they hold him off the paint they can pick off his pass.
