NBA 2022/23

hes a very interesting player.

his shot isn’t great, he doesn’t really flop, hes not explosive like a dame/peak oladipo. yet he gets his shot whenever he wants, he bullies people, he defends at another level, and go toe to toe with lebron and out perform him before an injury hit.

He’s like a MyPlayer in NBA live where someone dialed up all the mentality stats and didn’t have much left for anything else

celtics super sloppy against nets rn

No words.

Freakish

A few days old but just loving watching his growth.

Anthony Davis is in some sort of form right now. 41/14 with 3 blocks and still a quarter remaining; although they may just sit him down because they are up by 24.

LB J and Walker also with 20 each.

He finishes with 55/17 on 77% shooting and Lebron chipped in with 29. What a performance from AD holy ■■■■.

Giddey had a bit of a lean period, so it was good to see him back in some form over the weekend.

About bloody time.
He has to drive the Lakers.
Lebron is too old to carry a team on his shoulders.
He has to be the dominant self he was at New Orleans. Hopefully he can stay on the court long enough to get the best out of himself.

Weird that the Lakers have won 8 of their last 10 and still bottom 4 in the West.
I still don’t think they make playoffs. Should get to the play in though.

January is always the big test. They are usually on the road that month.

Fake.

Unfortunately…

Jonathan Givony shared a post on Instagram: "Dyson Daniels’ versatility is making it difficult to keep him off the floor, as he’s already arguably the best defender in this rookie class while shooting 41% 3PT%, rebounding in bunches and facilitating...

Some nice footage here of Aussie rookie Dyson Daniels who is shaping up as the premier 3 and D option of this draft. Shooting 41% from the arc and changing a lot of shots

" Daniels has been the NBA’s best rookie according to several metrics (Box Plus-Minus, Real Plus-Minus, net rating) and will draw more attention to his play if he continues to perform in a bigger sample."

It’s funny that five years ago we all thought it’d be Simmons, Exum and Maker driving the boomers forward but all of those guys have gone backwards.

Hopefully we can build a great team around Giddey, Green, Daniels, Lansdale and Thybulle. There’s certainly some interesting elements to that group for a coach

Josh Green perfect 5-5 (+ 3-3 FT) so far in the 1st half against the Suns

Luka, father of the Suns.

Yeah just heard that it’s fake. Bummer. Steph is the only player you’d actually think could do it.

Luka is now starting to break ankles? :flushed:

that last 4th qtr and 2 ot’s of the 76ers was essington level brutal

embiid two passes to nowhere that go into the crowd from the foul line when he could have taken his jump shot, then gets fouled out in ot, houston run away with it in 2nd OT

if you want to see what nba essington looks like, they 76ers served it up big time, that was ugly, ugly basketball.

76ers had cohesion as a team of role players for a month, then embiid and harden come back, they look like ■■■■ again, people say doc should be fired, but embiid and harden blew about 10 chances between them to win the game, epic fail stuff.

Mitchell drops 43 on Bron in his return to Cleveland. AD lived up to his reputation of being soft and unreliable, playing just 8 minutes before leaving the game with flu-like symptoms. Cavs beat LA 116-102.
