NBA 2024/25

Be interested to learn if that was LBJs or JJs call to do that?

Apparently it was JJ’s call.
There was no time out though.
JJ could just be covering for Lebron.

For people that really know Basketball, are the Bulls the Essendon of the NBA ?

There isn’t one absolute perfect fit NBA team who are the Essendon equivalent. Probably a mix of Chicago (been irrelevant for a similar amount of time as EFC, last title 1998, ours 2000), Detroit (poorly run, always seem to have bad luck, last Finals win was in 2004), and the Lakers (big franchise run comically bad, except LA have actually won a decent amount of title in the 21st century despite being a clownshow).

Or the Kings that haven’t won ■■■■ for years, although they’re probably more like North

Bulls + Dons supporter = why even bother living the last 20 odd

But they were pretty epic in the 90s if you were around for that (I wasn’t)

Actually after watching some footage of Furphy in his debut I’m gonna call it and say that at least offensively he’ll end up the best of the current batch of NBA players we have.
Looks a bit more in the Klay Thompson mould of catch & shoot rather than creating his own shots so might end up depending on whether or not he’s in a good system.

Why bother with James Harden

Why not! Imagine the behind the scenes of him in the club…

Harden is never more than six weeks away from drama

Just cut the crap and give us Morant

I would say maybe the New York Knicks, but they have at least had some playoff wins recently (unlike us) lol. They are a team with a massive market and have not won a finals since 1973.

Edwards going berserk. Loving it! Six 3s in the first quarter.

Not enough for the win though!

Anyone else have issues with the NBA app this season? Seems to freeze a lot more than it ever did previously??

Lee won’t be at all happy. Got out to a 20 point lead then conceded a 43 point quarter.

Heavy going but got out of it in the end. Tre Mann off the bench has been great early in the season. Back to back Boston games and Minnesota coming up so that was important to win.

Giddey on fire.

KAT looked ok today

Big comeback from the Celtics to force OT in Indiana, but a Siakam 3 wins it for the Pacers. Elsewhere, Detroit beats Philly on the road and Cleveland start 5-0 with a blowout win against the Lakers.

Bulls and magic go 0/20 from the field to start the fourth.

Winner of this game will be the cream of the crap.
