NBA 2024/25

Good to see Simmons playing again after the rumours of him having back issues again after some bad performances.

The bigger problem moving forward is that Richards is injured and didn’t play after half time. If he and Williams are out, we will get cooked by opposition centres. Taj Gibson is almost as old as I am , lol, and Grant Williams is undersized.

Gradey ■■■■ from Toronto looks to be an incredible shooter. Unreal.

Didn’t get there. Giddey 1/4 free throws and 0/4 from 3…

Why can’t Aus basketball produce pure shooters?

They sat him at the end so he couldn’t get fouled.

That’s pretty standard isn’t it?

I figure he just needs a couple of months to gain confidence in his body, then time will tell what level he can get to

Yeah…but you can’t be paying someone the amount he gets and then not be able to play him when it’s important.

That’s got nothing to do with his fitness/confidence in his body.

It’s all in his head.

Joe Ingles and Patty Mills probably played more minutes than any other aussies over the last 10 years?

Omg!! Braun dunk on Gobert and Gobert goes nuts.

Actually nuts might be an exaggeration but he reacted

Foul shots
Lakers 41
Raptors 13

It’s beyond a joke.

Just seen the Grant Williams ejection against Boston where he hits Tatum from the blind side with a hip and shoulder. Sort of ■■■■ I’d expect from Draymond Green or Joel Embiid. Not sure if there’s any lingering animosity of him leaving the Celtics and it costing him a ring…

Williams has a history of being dirty

He’s copping it in all senses today, getting booed by some fans. And Nick Richards out (plus Mark Williams still missing) means Williams is playing as a small centre and we’re getting torched in the paint. Ball in early foul trouble. Miller rusty on his return. This one will get ugly unless Boston opt to just coast home from here. The Williams injury is the biggest worry for most Hornets fans. Or it should be. We are out of genuinely usable options, Diabatë is not a big minutes player either. And Gibson is 103 years old.

We are hanging on much much better than I expected.

Job done, won both back-to-back games at Charlotte. Sloppy coming out of the HT break to allow a 17-2 run and the Hornets getting it back to a one possession game, but from there steadied and professionally saw the game out.

Scotty Pippin Jr. starting to develop into a nice PG off the bench. Tracking for his 3rd double-double of the year already.

Bucks defence is a disgrace.

Yeah, been really impressed with his development.

yep, showed class and experience. Got to the free throw line a heck of a lot better than us, which is a bit of a theme for this squad.

I’m not too disappointed , never expected to knock off Boston. More broadly, we need some continuity in our starting 5, hopefully the injury gods throw us a bone soon.
