EFA
Again, just that he’s a ■■■■.
Massive L by you.
L…what’s that mean?
I think it’s also a consequence of most people no actually watching games. It’s consumed as a box score, a few highlights, and a vibe. Basically discussion in a lot of areas comes down to perceived personality because that’s all that’s left at that point
(I’m not suggesting I’m any different)
What a run by Chicago. If Giddey wasn’t a favourite of Bulls fans already, he will be now. His game is rounding out nicely.
Also saw a stat that there are only two players in Bulls history to have had 5 or more triple doubles in a season:
Michael Jordan
Josh Giddey
Great company to be in!
Very proud as an Aussie!! And bright future for the national team
Definitely got the keys to the national team now.
Still blown away by that last minute by Giddey and the Bulls, the plays, the fans, the commentary absolutely incredible, don’t think I’m ever going to get tired of watching it.
Pour money in? He hasn’t put a cent into the I Promise school. His foundation funded that school. Two very different things. This is also a public school where the taxpayers are funding 80% of it every year at approx 7 mill. The same school where the majority of students are failing… To cap it all off the narcissistic flog gets himself painted onto a wall next to MLK. LeFraud and LeMedia will have you believe something else though.
He has put money in, whether through the foundation or not.
I’ve googled it too, it seems the school is not going great rn. Sometimes things don’t work out.
But good intentions are good intentions.
He’s no villain.
I googled it too. LeBron is actually turning up to the school and stealing kids lunch money!
Been funded by Nike and the LeBron James Foundation, which the general public can make donations to. So yeah, LeBron himself hasn’t contributed anything, but it’s a great vanity play for him. Makes him look like a good guy but that’s all a facade.
If anyone is in any doubt about how self absorbed, deluded and full of his own BS he is, take a look at his appeared on the Pat McAfee Show and his back and forth with Stephen A Smith.
Watching him abuse LeBron, first with the steal and then shooting the game winner in his face. Right up there with Fark Carlton losing last night!
Meanwhile Memphis sack their coach.
Memphis.
Sitting 5th in the west and 2 weeks out from playoffs.
An absolute bonehead situation.
Watched it.
I had no problems with it.
Self absorbed bullshit goes hand in hand with Stephen A Smith too.
But that’s what’s great about sports media.
ESPN have spent two weeks talking about the Stephen A and Lebron issue. And Stephen A maximises it by going on every podcast and platform possible even though he didn’t want to talk about it at first. Riiiight.
Surely, media could find something else to talk about.
OKC being the most dominant defence in decades. Houston making a decent run. Clippers making a run.
That needs actually intelligent basketball’s who can talk X’s and O’s. Nah, just get Stephen A Smith, Perkins and join him with Wilbourne and that will draw in more views. On TNT, Kenny Smith did that, But it’s better off the Barkley and Shaq just do their bullshit thing and talk about whatever they want to talk about without even watching half the teams play anyway.
But, the networks have to go with what the fans want. Which is bullshit talk more often than not.
I’m fine with sportsmen talking out the bullshit. For too long, media have been able to say what they want and players have had to ‘shut up and dribble’. The more we hear from the actual professionals playing the game the better.
It’s a pity we don’t get the Kobe Detail stuff anymore or even the players doing it the year after he passed away. People might actually learn a tad more about the game than ‘they’re just jacking up 3s’ or ‘this guys dominated that guy’.
Unfortunately, sports fans nowadays don’t watch to support, they watch and wait to put down. It is what it is. And we’ll have to be stuck with it for quite some time.
There has to be a reason other than basketball
An Ime Udoka type situation…
