We scored 94 points in the first quarter against the Suns in their first ever game. Now they beat us by 95 to make their first final. Geez I hate footy.

It’s like hearing the stories of people going to the funeral of their nemesis just to make sure they are dead. I had to watch that game right until the end just to make sure this shittshow of a season is over.

I feel that in every bone in my body, watching essendon i used to be so passionate and get excited now its a chore and then throw on the afls tinkering towards good clubs and northern states and looking to take father son it just doesnt fill me with any passion

The only positives from the whole season was the games that the kids got. A lot of them looked good and give us hope for the future. The only issue is they only got games because of all the injuries- as stated by the coach
So who the hell knows what lineup we will go with come round 1

The team that just whooped us to secure a place in the finals will still get two picks in the draft before our picks 4 and 5, which will become 5 and 6 and then 6 and 7 once the handouts are done.
