I’m giving club benefit of the doubt. It’s black or white this one. It’s either a bold, ambitious and innovative partnership supporting Welshes aspiration for club to be bold and get swagger. Or it’s a bust, highlights clubs lack of risk management and commercial incompetence.
They don’t say how long deal runs.. Just multi year. I’m guessing it’s two years at lower money than Fujitsu. Gives a gap filler of dollars abd and a bit of time whilst club navigates a couple more years of building and then hope the club can command a lucrative deal for 2028>. Just a guess!
As a number of people said last night at the season launch thing it’s about getting back to playing good footy and the rest should slot into place nicely
I agree, still can’t fumble and make bad decisions though.
Airwallex were initially engaged to run the process of finding a new major sponsor, and fortuitously, through the process, discovered that the best candidate was Airwallex.

We are a club that runs a gambling venue. What’s the issue with being sponsored by a used car sales company and a foreign exchange international transfer company? If anything the issue would be them with us.

In fact we have had a massive drug use ban and from memory also done for salary cap payments at one point? Unless we get sponsored by Epsteins Island I think we are okay.
