I think Caracella is a KP height.
plays like a flanker though
Noah was about 190?
191cm last I heard, Tom closer to 197

Can see it now, āTom Caracella, Essendonās Sam Darcy?ā
Thatās why Robey and Sharp are generational pick ups in the one year that need to be carefully managed!

Have 6 players I know of who have been invited to trial for Calder Cannons u16s for the 2027 season; just awaiting confirmation on the complete list but a big effort.
The Final Cut plays a small series, gets named in the Vic Metro squad if good enough and then onto national champs which starts to form the basis of the U17 / U18 academy sides if they are good enough
Tevita, Mou and Koby have been around these for 3 years

Just saw the Daveyās mentioned in another thread.
What happened to the 2 younger brothers?
I thought Alijah had some raps on him & he was due this draft.
Cruz and Elijah are both playing in the NTFL with Palmerston, Cruz is the youngest and only turning 14. Alijah played some private school footy last year but gone missing a bit in 2026.

5 as expected, the 6th whom I know of declined the invitation to train with the Cannons U16 pre season program. I wont name out of respect for them
Caleb Cheshire (Airport West - EDFL)
Ahmad Allouche (Brunswick - YJFL)
Arlo Styant~Brown (Brunswick - YJFL)
Mahmoud Masri (Strathmore - EDFL)
Mohamed Elbardouh (Strathmore - EDFL
Will burn me but Adam Reginato Jnr (Whitlesea JFC - WRFL) was in our NGA, the rezoning saw him move to North Melbourneās academy. Looks a really exciting prospect.

The U18 cohort is obviously led by the big 3 we know of, Koby Bewick (Strathmore), Moustafa Darwish (Craigieburn) and Tevita Rodan (Aberfeldie) but we have a really strong presence in that U18 squad.
Maikelie Rodan (yes, younger brother, Aberfeldie - EDFL)
Tevita Rodan (Aberfeldie - EDFL)
Vilnith Patha (Brunswick JFC - YJFL)
Mohamed Matar (Coburg JFC - EDFL)
Moustafa Darwish (Craigieburn - EDFL)
Ronan Yow Yeh (Macedon - RDFL)
Ali Merhi (Pascoe Vale - EDFL)
Ollie Chatfield (St.Bernards JFC - WRFL)
Ali Kassab (Strathmore - EDFL)
Koby Bewick (Strathmore - EDFL)
couple of names I want you to keep an eye out for from this group, Ali Merhi will be a bottom ager but continues to go from strength to strength as a tenacious small forward who pushes up to the contest. Think that Jade Gresham type of role who can role up and get back. Thrives on the contest. Seen him lay a number of massive tackles that really proves he loves the contest.
Been big on Ronan Yow Yeh for a while. Debuted in a strong Macedon team at 16 and was amongst his sides bests consistently. Only small but another who thrives on the rough and bundle of AFL football. As a small defender I dont know what his standout trait will be but heās one I love how he goes about it.
Mo Matar is a big bodied mid / utility. Tries to use power to get through stoppage, think we will see him in a few games in 2027 with Calder if he makes the cut. Powerful presence and I know his team mates love him. Just a glue guy.
Ali Kassab, has a unique ball drop that does worry me but geez he is electric around the stoppage. Uses his speed and agility to get out of traffic with ease. Won the U16 EDFL division 1 league B&F which shows he has tricks. Expect him to play some games with the 18s in 2027.

Wasnāt the cousin meant to be the super good one - Alwyn Jrās twin brotherās kid ?
Albeit he would be about 20 by now, so presumably didnāt kick on in his later teens.
