It’d be Taylor swift territory
I WFH on Mondays. Across the road is a sharehouse of 20 somethings. Every Monday a couple of them turn up back home around lunchtime wearing their NFL shirts. (One is a Stroud shirt, not sure of the other). I am sure they go and watch NFL games all Monday morning every week. And I take them to be representative of a certain subset of 20-somethings (that probably includes a bunch of AFL players) in their love of NFL.
Just caught up to this game. It was very interesting, especially playing out in that snowstorm.
I never barracked – oops, “rooted” - for the Browns before but glad they won that game. It was well deserved, especially under the circumstances of the weather and also coming in 2-8 vs 8-2 for the Steelers.
I’m glad Essington aren’t my only team who decides to chuck in the season as we approach the pointy end of the season
Hooooooo boy that Redskins kickers miss.
Panthers going with KC
KC win with a last second FG
Meanwhile Bears recover an onside kick!
Bears FG sends it to overtime!
And the cowboys return an onside kick for a TD.
What a wacky morning.
Being a Bears fan is more sufferable than supporting Essendon
Well that was far more stressful than it should have been.
I thought Darnold had an average game, too many three-and-outs, but put together a remarkably composed last quarter + OT when he had the ball.
Just flicked on the SF-GB game. Looks pretty ugly
Other than Josh Jacobs, who has been running all over the 49ers, it’s been pretty ugly. Neither QB has looked very good.
And just gets uglier…
Niners’ season is over. On to 2025.
That was always gonna be tough with a green QB.
Niners did make me sweat for awhile in that third quarter, though.
First offensive play of the 2nd half Barkley rumbles 70 yards for the TD.
The Eagles lead the Rams 20-7
Untouched.
Sorry Don Mania
I sorta feel an affinity to the boys this year
Rams getting some very friendly calls that have led to two touchdowns.
Niners will be back; just too many key injuries this year
Rams seriously screwing
the pooch here
But
Barkley has been immense
