Hey there’s been a ~cough~ couple of ~cough~ good defensive plays.
Was looking forward to this being a chance to relax and watch a full game with the team in action and something on the line, but alas they are already out.

Not a lot of love here for Cleveland, which is understandable
But I just found out their Quarterback is Dorian Thompson-Robertson.
I just hope that his sister marries Lewis Roberts-Thomson (who played for the Sydney Swans). Then their kids would be the Roberts-Thomson-Thompson-Robertsons.

It’s clear that week 18 is the week where the NFL doesn’t care of teams aren’t trying to win. Probably shouldn’t allow gambling on that…
There’s always some bizarro results in Week 18. Pride is a thing. Resting starters is a thing. Those on the playoff cusp will often play with a lot more desperation. Denver had to win to get in; KC played the scout team.
GB’s result ended up not mattering today but it was really disappointing to watch them just kind of phone it in.

If Detroit can hold Minnesota to 9 points with a taped-together secondary, that might be the most impressive thing they’ve done all season.

Darnold has been under immense pressure from the Lions D line and linebackers. He’s also missed a couple he should have made.
Yes, a pass rush in the NFL is pretty damned important.
Funny how one of the other front offices in this division can’t seem to find one no matter how many first round picks they waste.

Darnold played scared. His worst game of the season. Overthrew guys everywhere and missed open throws. Held onto the ball even when guys were open.
The defence held on as long as they could, some great plays were made but Darnold and the offence couldn’t reward them.
