But I want Swift to lose. Yes I’ve turned.
Yeah, I’m over 13yo Little Miss Furious’ “Dad, did you see the Chiefs won? Do you think they’ll show Taylor at the Superbowl, Dad? Are the Chiefs going to win, Dad? I think they’ll win because they have Taylor on their side, Dad. It would be great if Taylor performed at the Superbowl and the Chiefs won, Dad”.
Blurgh.
It’s the NFL. Nothing to do with her.
Swift or the daughter?
Swift of course. I’m sure little miss furious is an angel.
Im just barracking for Saquon. His seasons deserves a ring.
And shows up the giants yet again.
You’re just a terrible father.
True, a good father would have stamped this KC ■■■■ out long ago. She’s an ungrateful little cretin.
She is an Essendon supporter, but at this point I think that’s just further evidence of my parenting incompetence.
She’s 13, but still loves to give me hugs, so I turn a blind eye to pretty much everything else.

Rubbish. A lot of neutrals are going for them this year.
That tells you how sick people are getting of the Chiefs.
Too bad.
It goes Dallas < Philly < everyone else in no particular order < Washington.
Anybody who says otherwise is a bum, or worse a Philly supporter
Go Birds!!!
Methinks you are looking through an NFC East lens, which is understandable.
I’m cheering for the Chiefs to lose. That is all.

What gave it away?
“Rich in amino acids”??? FFS.
Maybe it was our shorts and footy jumpers that contained thymosin beta 4!?
Interesting hypothesis
You are suggesting the “Shorts of Babel”?
I encourage everyone to read the “Library of Babel” by Jorge Luis Borges [FYI, he is one of the greatest literary geniuses of the 20th century, But because he was from South America he is overlooked by most.] In that story, he explores the meaning of infinity and how it could be manifested in physical reality. I read it over 50 years ago but it still resonates.
Latin American writers after him were very influenced by him, and wrote in the “magical realism” genre he established (amongst many others). They won Nobel Prizes. But no Nobel for the greatest of them all.
And just to top off this digression from the NFL discussion, here is something that would be known to even fewer people than think Essendon will win a flag this year.
JLB, before he went blind, travelled to Melbourne in the 1930s to try to set up a literary society to celebrate Southern Hemisphere literature. This was an effort to celebrate the “South”, half the world that is still ignored by those further from the galactic centre. (I suspect @percebushby doesn’t frequent the NFL thread, but he may be interested in this historical vignette). So Jose Luis Borges could have been here when Dic k Reynolds won one of his three Brownlows in that decade.
