I knew the NFL coming here would be big but feels crazy. Curious they have named the Rams but not the opponent. May just be because the Eagles donât need the distraction this week. This is going to be so freaking massive and the game could be on a Tuesday morning
I hope they pick up Miles Garrett who wants to leave the Browns.
Can they afford either? I would have thought if they are signing Purdy on to a more expensive contract then they need to trim their list rather than adding to it?
The 49ers are the masters of cap management. They can find a way. Especially if they move Deebo.
So the Rams game is official, but apparently reports that the Eagles were the other team is incorrect, and it is still TBD. The fixture is being counted as one of the Ramsâ nine home games, and the game with the Eagles is actually an away game. So the opponent will come from the Ramsâ home schedule.
The Rams only have 8 home games scheduled and 9 away⌠a home game in MCG would leave them with two fewer home games for the season which is kind of head-scratching.
Right now that will be one of the 49ers, Seahawks, Cardinals, Cowboys, Giants, Kansas City, Chargers, and an undetermined NFC North opponent (based on where the Rams finish in the division).
So, small chance it could be the Packers 
My guess it would be 49ers or Chargers, which would make a few people here very happy. Theyâll ask Dallas and Dallas will say no.
Outside chance it will be the NY Giants.

Quite a bit further for them to go, though, as compared to a California team.
Obviously for this to work there need to be bye weeks and probably other schedule quirks, like maybe a Thursday night game instead of a Sunday the week prior.

49ers almost get a bigger crowd at Rams homes games than the Rams so it makes sense it will be them.

Better chance for Chargers: direct LAX - MEL.

I donât think crowd size is an issue. This game could sell out multiple times over. Disappointed it sounds like itâs not the Eagles.
It will sell out within a day no matter whoâs playing.
