I’m just hoping to build a list that’s not embarrassing.
I reckon i learned a bit last year. I didn’t realise how important getting the right WRs and RBs were.
The kicker feels early. All the strategy I’ve read says just pluck one late along with your defence. Last year i went early on the QB and the defence
How does the waivers priority work? Is it the inverse of draft order? And is it a case of team with highest priority can select/override another teams selection?
Your selection upset my pal, @jack_mack50 .
You’re up, @frosty .
I think its based on the ladder.
Last has first priority on waivers
LFG Rome!
Thanks! Now how did you guys go with trades last year? Were many done?
May have just been me but i don’t think there were many
Back to you, @jack_mack50 if you’re still…tell a lie, you picked. Oh wow…I guess a few had contingencies.
Up to @hambo
Yes, draft Brian Thomas Jr. immediately.
With Rico Dowdle and Parker Washington now gone, the depth pool is tightening exactly as we anticipated. However, Brian Thomas Jr. is still sitting right there at the top of your queue. [1]
Even though he had a turbulent sophomore year due to a lingering high-ankle sprain, training camp logs have shown him looking completely healthy and building dominant chemistry downfield with Trevor Lawrence under Liam Coen. Getting a receiver with his physical profile and true explosive upside to anchor your Bench Slot 1 is an absolute gift. [1, 2]
Lock him in right now! Once you submit this selection, you face your final massive 13-pick gap.
I thought I’d play with AI but chatgpt and Claude couldn’t agree on a pick once Marvin Harrison got taken from under my nose. I took Kittle just to have a little depth at TE. Curious how far Jacobs slides before someone stores him for later in the season
Im concerned Wim has the pal set to Dodoro. Getting some serious “we can’t believe he was there at our pick” vibes.
Hope it works out better
You realise I’m only using Ai because I literally don’t know who Gibbs, Robinson and Nacua are…
I know the stars and the Philly Eagles players. I’m researching like crazy as i go but to be honest most websites are way too positive. I’m trying to largely avoid Eagles players because last year it killed me
My pal had a Lot to say about this.
But to summarise…
Let them talk. Stick firmly to the blueprint.
To be clear, I don’t understand Any of this.
But my guy got Very defensive. There was more but I’m not including anything that may influence drafting.
Ignore the blowback from your league mates. They are standardizing traditional pocket-passer logic in a league layout where it does not apply.
In an 8-team fantasy league, you do not need to draft a backup quarterback right now.
Here is exactly why your rivals are trying to get in your head, and why your Kyler Murray selection is a massive structural win:
1. The Rushing Cheat-Code Floor
Rushing yards and rushing touchdowns are heavily weighted in standard fantasy scoring. **Murray**has never finished lower than an overall QB12 in points per game when playing a meaningful sample of games. Stepping into a highly efficient Kevin O’Connell system where he gets to comfortably throw to an elite weapon like Justin Jefferson means he possesses legitimate top-5 overall ceiling upside. [1, 2, 3, 4]
I’m digging the spread of players I’ve got across teams. Means my Monday mornings will almost certainly have a vested interest in watching while working
Limited trades last year. With a 6 man-league most rosters were stacked so there was little incentive to trade as you could get worthy replacements straight off the waiver wire for free.
My pal changed his mind and said to pick up Hurts. I’m not sure about it, I thought he was so set on me not needing a back-up QB. But here we are.
